There is nothing that educates and expands the palate better than tasting lots of wine! At our weekly tastings, educational classes and specialty wine dinner experiences we create the space for a community of wine lovers, novice to experts, to come together and share a glass.Enjoy weekly wine tastings at Meritage Wine Market. Each week provides a new opportunity to be educated on wine regions, varietals and producers. Tasting fee is $30 per person, unless otherwise noted.

Meritage Tasting Experiences
Tasting Room: Open Tues- Sat 10AM-6:30PM, 16 Wines Available
Meritage has Enomatic wine tasting machines for our tasting room. With Self-Guided tastings available 10 to 6:30p, Tuesday through Saturday, the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic tasting experience at Meritage abounds! There are 16 wines available to taste, have a half-glass or even a full glass and relax, discuss wine with your friends and enjoy the ambience of our tasting room and patio.
Weekly Tasting: Friday 6PM-8PM, $30 per person, Flight of 4-6 Wines
Our themed tastings offer a chance to experience a flight of wine of a specific region, varietal or style. They are held in a casual format in our specially designed tasting room and patio. You work your way through 4-6 wines at your own pace with Meritage Staff as your guide.

Seminars: Pricing varies each seminar, RSVP required.
We offer sit-down wine education courses in the store, limited to 18 people. From Wine 101, The Terroirs of Napa, to The Wines of Austria, our classes are held in a seminar format in our Tasting Room. Meritage Staff, importers, Masters of Wine, or even the winemakers themselves, will walk you through a range of wines with an emphasis on enriching your knowledge of a producer, region or style of wine. Class size is limited to 18 people to ensure an intimate and personal experience.
From our Annual Wine & Wishes partnership with Make-A-Wish San Diego in the Fall, oysterfest in the Spring, sit down Bordeaux dinners, an evening with Napa Valley Vintners, to the night where our Guest Bartenders take over the shop … we host a variety of special events during the year. Frequently offering delectable food pairings and always providing a night to remember.
Each Special Event requires reservations, is limited in size, and sells out quickly, so act fast when you see one you just can’t miss!
